Terms
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms are between you and Fishball Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”), for the Vinimal Chrome extension and a Vinimal licence key. By installing Vinimal or getting a key, you agree to them.
The source code
Vinimal’s source code is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3, published at github.com/fishballapp/vinimal. Anyone may build it themselves under that licence. These terms cover the copy we publish in the Chrome Web Store and the licence keys for it.
Free trial
Vinimal works for 14 days from when you install it, without payment details. After that, its keys stop until you add a licence key.
Your licence key
There are two kinds. Both are pay what you want, plus any tax that applies, shown at checkout.
- One year: from $0, £0 or €0, once. The key works for a year from when you get it and does not renew; you can get another, free again if you like.
- Supporter: from $5, £5 or €5 a year. The key works for as long as your support continues. It renews every year until you cancel it, in Polar’s customer portal, linked from your receipt and from Vinimal’s Licence page. Cancelled, it keeps working until the end of the year you paid for.
For either:
- Seller: Polar Software, Inc. sells the keys as our merchant of record. It takes any payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts, and its Buyer Terms also apply.
- Use: the key is for your own browsers. Please don’t share it publicly.
- When it ends: Vinimal’s keys stop on every site, and your disabled sites and setting are kept for when you add a key again.
- Refunds: if you ask within 14 days of a payment, we will refund it. Email yo@fishball.app. This does not affect your statutory rights.
No guarantees
Vinimal works with the pages you visit and with Chrome, and either can change at any time. We keep Vinimal working as Chrome changes, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will work on every page or always without interruption. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using Vinimal. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending Vinimal
If we ever stop offering Vinimal, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. A change applies to your next renewal, not to a year you have already paid for.
